To the editor,
It has come to my attention that there is a lot of problems with the community towards skateboarding. I bring the issue to you that there is a lot that you may do to stop all the current and future problems. I’m going to suggest a few solutions that may help stop the destruction of properties and the youth being hassled or otherwise arrested.
One thing I notice everywhere are no skateboarding signs. I can understand the liability of us bringing them to court. If we get hurt it is our own fault. If you’d like to get rid of the worries the destruction and liabilities why not build us a skate plaza. A skate park to represent a small portion of the city. We would love something like that and also this way you would not have to deal with us skaters disturbing you at work.
Another issue that comes to mind is when security and civilians. It would seem they always have something bad to say about the youth. They should not be so quick to judge us. Yes there are rude people that skateboard but more then 50% of the youth that skates have done nothing bad. Its not like we are dealing drugs or that we are spray painting all over the city. Skateboarding is the least of your worries. We would just like it if once in awhile that we could get some respect and not have the cops called on us and getting us in trouble with the law they have much better things to do then waste they’re time chasing after us kids when they could be out stopping actual crimes.
I hope you take into consideration what I’ve just brought up in my argument. We just want to have fun and we only live once. So why not make it worth it and live our life to the extreme. You were once a child to think about what you were doing at the age of 12 to 18.
Thank you for taking the time to read.

I normally spend my lunches at the local skate park close to my school. It’s a great time to practice new tricks film what ever I want. I have to make careful use of my time since every other day I only have 1 hour. Once I’m done then I make my way back to school and wait for the end of the day.
So for the end of the day, I make my way home. I go home ether by my school bus or my friend will give me a drive home. It takes on average 15 to 30 minutes to get home. Then I’m on my way to relaxing.
Now before I go home I stop at Tim Horton’s to get a coffee for my mom and I. My order is a large double double and a large triple triple. I think my family should have a share with timmies. But today I won two free coffee’s! I’m really stoked about that.
When I go home there is plenty that I normally do. Ether I sleep then skateboard at night. Or else I eat then go see some friends. Which ever one I choose to do I love. Those 4 things are my favorite things in life.
Before I do ether of my two options, I would normally have a cigarette and my coffee. I know its bad for me but it’s a habit and I would like to quit. I cant though it’s a good stress relief. I normally smoke Canadian classic. They cost me 8 dollars.
So after my cigarette, I like to go to sleep! It just makes me feel so refreshed. I would sleep for a good 3 hours normally. When I wake up its time for the best time of all though. Finally dinner is ready!
The end of the night is here, finally.. I have to refresh myself for the following day. I crawl into my bed and dose off. And then when I wake up, my day restarts the exact same way. All over again the same routine.

What a great day...
I know this has nothing to do with skateboarding but I just really wanted to talk about my amazing day! So today I went snowboarding with my friend at Dagmar. I learned a bunch of new stuff I've never done before but I ended up spraining my wrist. Yay me! so on my way home I decided to call my work and let them know that I wouldn't be able to come in tonight because I was in to much pain. So guess what. One of my bosses did not like that and I got fired. So you can tell my day went very great(note the sarcasm. So now I've got no job, a sprained wrist, and to top it all off, I think I bruised my toes on my left foot. That's my amazing day for you guys. Make sure to check my blog on Tuesday for my special post!

Old school!

So last night while laying in bed I got an idea for a blog post. I wanted to write about old school skateboarding, back when skateboarding first started. I really envy the old ways of skating. Its what lead to present day skating. But old school skating is very different from what it is today. As you can see on the picture I posted with this post this is what they used to do while they skated unlike the present day skater that you see everywhere. Skateboarding started back in the 1950`s. The boards were oddly shaped with very large wheels to coast around. Today they are shapped all the same way wheels are the exact same and trucks are the same to so. Thats why skateboarding back in the day really gets my respect.
